InVivo Headpost stand

The Luigs-Neumann headpol was designed for chronic in-vivo experiments in awake mice or rats, performing e.g. on a spherical treadmill. According to the users purpose a dovetailed metal bar is cemented on the animals scull.
Quick and easy fixation by the dovetail has permitted reproducible fixation and positioning of awake animals. In combination with in-vivo two-photon hippocampal Ca2+ imaging of awake mice, this headpol model ensures perfect fixation oft he animal’s head. With the accessories for automatic image registration, optimal imaging results can be achieved.
